Prof. Thomas Schultz

Thomas Schultz is Professor of Law at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London, where he is also Associate Director of the Centre for International Governance and Dispute Resolution (CIGAD), and Professor of International Arbitration at the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva. He is also Visiting Professor of International Law at the Geneva Graduate Institute and Editor-in-Chief and founder of the Journal of International Dispute Settlement.

He studied law and legal theory in Geneva and Brussels, completed postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, and previously co-directed the Center for International Dispute Settlement at the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute, where he also held a faculty position. He has held visiting appointments in Canada, France, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Earlier in his career, he practised as an international arbitrator.
