Prof. Surya P. Subedi

Professor Surya P. Subedi holds double doctorates in law from the University of Oxford. He is a barrister, international jurist, and Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds, Honorary Fellow of Exeter College of the University of Oxford, and a member of the Institut de Droit International. A former UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in Cambodia (2009–2015) and advisor to the UK Foreign Secretary, he has authored 12 books and over 60 scholarly articles, acted as counsel before the ICJ and ICSID, and received high-level state honours including an honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire and King's Counsel (KC)in the UK.
