Prof. Yusuf Çalışkan

Prof. Dr. Yusuf Çalışkan is a full professor of Private International Law at Istanbul Medeniyet University School of Law where he teaches Private International Law, International Investment Law, International Investment Arbitration, and International Commercial Arbitration. Furthermore, Prof Çalışkan was elected as a member of the Governing Council of the Institute for the Unification of Private International Law (UNIDROIT) for the term 2019-2023, and 2023-2028. Prof. Çalışkan has authored numerous publications in private international law, investment law, and related fields. Throughout his distinguished career, he has acted as arbitrator, counsel, and legal expert in a wide range of international and domestic disputes, providing expert opinions and representing parties before arbitral tribunals and courts.
