Huseyin Çagri Çorlu

Assoc. Dr. Huseyin Cagri Corlu is a lecturer of Public International Law at Necmettin Erbakan University Law School since 2018. He also gives lectures at graduate level on subjects such as Technical Barriers to Trade, Subsidies and Anti-dumping and Countervailing Duties. He received his LL.M from Indiana University Bloomington Law School in 2012 and graduated with a PhD from the University of Exeter, Law School in 2017. He wrote extensively on subjects such as international competition policies and the law of World Trade Organization. He is the author of a monograph, World Trade Organization Law, published in 2023 by Adalet Publishing House. His articles,  'The Extraterritorial Application of US Antitrust Rules: Ambiguities Old and New, and ‘The Extraterritorial Application of EU Competition Law: A New Standard-bearer of Legal Imperialism dealt with the regulation of trans-boundary anticompetitive conducts by respectively the US and the EU. Both articles stressed the necessity of modifications dictated by globalized supply chains with respect to the application of competition rules. His research interests also include capacities of blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies in producing red flags within the competition paradigm as well as algorithmic reflections of anticompetitive conducts perpetrated in peer-to-peer modalities on ai-determined relevant markets.
