Dilahan Bice KURTOĞLU

Dilahan Bice Kurtoglu is a PhD student at Warwick, where she is
working on a socio-legal research project on the realities of
individualised asylum procedures. Her research looks at EU practice by
using the case of Greece, with a particular focus on the lived
experiences of refugees and asylum seekers in their interviews and in
seeking legal support during this period. For this project, she has
conducted fieldwork in Athens. During her time in Greece, she was also a
visiting fellow at the European Law & Governance School of the European
Public Law Organisation. Prior to starting her PhD, Dilahan completed
her LL.M. at Sussex Law School with a Distinction degree. She holds a
bachelor's degree in law from Hacettepe University and has the
certification to practice law in Turkey as a registered member of Ankara
Bar Association since 2019.
