Mustafa Akgün

Dr. Akgün graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2014. He completed his master's (2015) at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and PhD at St Mary's College, University of Durham (2021). He is a member of the Affiliates and Engagement Advisory Group at the American Society of Comparative Law’s Younger Comparativists Committee. Currently, he works as an assistant professor of criminal and criminal procedural law at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. His main areas of interest are international and comparative criminal law, economic crimes, and punishment theory.
