Julia Wachowicz

Julia Wachowicz is a doctoral candidate at the University of Vienna, where she serves as a research assistant at the chair of private international law. Her work focuses on sustainable finance, corporate social responsibility, and arbitration. She teaches modules in US and comparative law and coaches the University of Vienna PAX Moot Court team. She is also a visiting researcher at Koç University Law Faculty in Istanbul. Prior to academia, she worked as an investment fund lawyer at the biggest law firm in Luxembourg.
Julia holds three master's degrees in law from Sapienza University of Rome, Humboldt University of Berlin, and King's College London. Her recent work includes a chapter on jurisdiction issues in blockchain and papers on recent developments in European corporate social responsibility regulation.
